I joined this college in 2000 with a batch of 350 students and ever since it has been a no-looking back journey. In 2006, we set yet another milestone by starting our degree college to impart higher education to our students so that they could get non-stop exposure to a great academic environment.
With student strength increasing the responsibility to make them wholesome individuals was also given importance. We ensured an all around strategy to make our students grow in both academics, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities. This came in the form of organizing subject-based debates, quizzes, project exhibitions that addressed current affairs. These intiatves created a remarkable difference in our students further boosting their innovative and creative skills. To add to this we have been the forerunners in organizing extra-curricular activities both in arts and sports.
S.K Rai’s students have been regular winners of Dance competions, dramatics, and elocution competitions. Even in Sports, S.K. Rai students haven’t been too far off. In a bid to instil team spirit and fair game S.K. Rai started its sports section in 2008 and won many accolades which only showed our student’s versaile qualities. We have always endeavoured to teach our students that it is not about winning but about being prepared to play your best game. Our Mission has been to focus on 100% percent preparation for the most difficult challenges. This has resulted in our consistent progress in academics over the years.
S.K Rai College gives immense importance of being familiar to the latest technical advancements across various fields, which has become the need of the hour. Apart from delivering excellent academic content and development of skills through interaction with knowledgeble resource persons, placement of young energetic budding students has also added a feather to our caps. We believe in holistic development of students with the active participation of parents.
We are in constant touch with parents informing them about the progress of the student through correspondence and dialogue.
So far this journey has been extremely rewarding because we marched towards success as a team and not as an individual.
